InteliPrompt Privacy Policy

InteliPrompt is provided by Patrick Jennings. It is a teleprompter for iPhone and iPad. No developer account is required. Trial activation and purchases use your Apple Account.

Scripts and preferences

Scripts you create or import are stored in the app's local storage. Reading preferences are stored on your device. The app does not upload scripts or preferences to a developer-operated server and does not provide cloud synchronization. Device backups and files you choose through Apple's Files app may be handled by Apple or your selected storage provider under their own policies.

Speech timing and optional microphone access

Natural pace uses Apple's text-to-speech framework to prepare reference audio and timing on your device. Generated reference audio is held temporarily for playback and timing; it is not uploaded to us.

Listen and match can be turned off in Studio settings. It is enabled by default for new users, alongside Natural pace; existing saved preferences are retained. When it is enabled and you press Play, the app requests microphone and speech-recognition permission. It processes microphone audio through Apple's on-device speech recognition to compare your spoken words with the script and adjust pacing. The implementation requires on-device recognition and does not fall back to server-based recognition. If supported recognition is unavailable, Natural pace continues without matching. The app does not save microphone recordings or retain recognition transcripts in its script library, and does not send microphone audio, transcripts or scripts to us. Recognition results are used during the session to locate your place in the script, adjust scrolling and learn your target pace. The latest recognized words appear temporarily in the Heard line and are cleared when playback stops. Learned pace changes are saved as a local reading preference.

Apple manages speech voices, recognition components, downloads and system services. Availability depends on the device, language and installed resources.

Tracking, advertising and analytics

The app does not include advertising, tracking, third-party analytics SDKs or a developer-operated analytics service. We do not sell your scripts or microphone audio.

Retention and deletion

Scripts remain in the app until you delete them or remove the app. Deleting the app removes its local library. Copies in device backups or original imported files are managed separately by you and the relevant provider. You can revoke microphone and speech permissions in iOS Settings. You can use the other teleprompter features without enabling Listen and match.

Please avoid sending confidential scripts or recordings. The contact website and any email provider operate separately from the app.

Trial and purchases

Apple processes the free-trial activation and permanent-unlock payment. InteliPrompt uses verified App Store transaction information to determine access and restore purchases. The app does not receive or store payment-card details and does not send your scripts or microphone audio to Apple as part of a purchase.
